Victoria Ingram

Our Minister,
Victoria Ingram

Welcome to the website for the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Los Gatos! This page will tell you a little about the path I’ve taken that’s led me to become the Minister of this wonderful community. I look forward to us getting to know each other.

I was born and raised in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. My husband, Carl, and I moved to California in 1996 and have since lived in Davis, Oakland, San Diego, and now Los Gatos. Carl is a management consultant and Executive Coach in private practice. We enjoy travel, cultural events, movies, and being out-of-doors. Carl’s adult children (Sara, who lives in Brooklyn and Jason, living in Kentucky) are an important part of our lives.

In May, 2007, I was granted a Master of Divinity degree from Starr King School for the Ministry in Berkeley, CA. This is my first settled ministry following completion of a Ministerial Internship with the First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Diego, CA. I feel honored and excited about the journey that we are sharing together in Los Gatos!

While completing my seminary education, I was invited to speak at numerous congregations and fellowships in the San Francisco Bay Area. I participated in chaplaincy training at Holy Names University, the Masonic Home for Adults, and Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Hayward, CA. At Mt. Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church in Walnut Creek, CA, I was actively involved in religious education, specifically children’s worship and summer programs. Together, Carl and I provided consulting services to congregations in strategic planning, Board development, and conflict resolution.

Prior to answering my call to be a Minister, my career included over 25 years of experience in organization development, training, consulting, executive coaching, management, and human resources, in both the public and private sectors, including insurance, healthcare, transportation, education, and social service organizations.

I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Oregon, where I also earned a Certificate in Women’s Studies. Prior to my recent seminary education, I completed a Master of Education degree in Adult Education and Organization Development at Oregon State University, with a minor in Public Administration. I was certified as an Executive Coach through the Professional School of Psychology in Sacramento in 1998.

I am the co-author of three books: Executive Coaching: Resource Book 2000, a resource book for coaching professionals, and Imagine Loving Your Work and Childhood Dreams Career Answers, two volumes on career and life planning. I’ve served as adjunct faculty for the Professional School of Psychology, teaching in the Executive Coaching certification program and for the California Institute of Integral Studies, in the Organization Transformation program.
