The Long Range Planning Committee presents an informational overview of the UUFLG Five Year Plan on Wednesday, April 30, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Plan to attend to learn about this Fellowship's goals for outreach, growth, and continuing to build our beloved community.
Child dedication ceremony occurs during Worship on Sunday, May 4th. Commemorate the birth of your child and confirm your commitment to raise your child to be happy, healthy, thoughtful adults. Contact Victoria at 358.1212 to participate.
Saturday May 17 th: Spirited Woman M other/Daughter Workshop (9am-12pm ) helps foster self-growth and special bonds between mothers and daughters. Spirited Woman Workshop (1:30-4:30) is filled with innovative exercises, self expression, inspiration and fun. Call to reserve your spot!
All are warmly invited to the ANNUAL AUCTION Saturday May 3, 5:30 – 9:00 p.m.
“Tres de Mayo” marks the return of UUFLG’s annual auction. It’s an evening for fun, fellowship and fundraising. You can anticipate great food (catered by Aqui) and great company. In addition, there is a fabulous variety of items for bidding. First-edition auction catalogs are available today for preview. A final version of the catalog will be on hand the night of the auction.
Your entry ticket of $15 ($7 for children) includes a bidding paddle, wonderful appetizers from Aqui, and if you are over 21, one glass of wine. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. A new feature this year is the Cantina, where beer and wine will be offered for sale. Those over 21 will be able to purchase tickets that can be redeemed at the Cantina for a choice of alcoholic beverage. Entry tickets can be purchased today after the service, or at the door that evening.
Childcare is provided, and a fun evening of activities and crafts is planned for them. Please call Julie Doyle, 408-353-2828, to tell her how many children will join in.
The auction is made possible by the generosity of our members and friends. Please plan to be there as we gather in gratitude to celebrate and support our community. And feel free to invite your friends to join us; the evening will be a great introduction to our vibrant and caring community.
