“Every Little Bit Counts”

All too often one hears, “I’m just one person, what can I do?”. This sermon will look at the nature of the One and of the Collective Whole.  Concepts such as the Free Rider and the Tragedy of the Commons will be explored along with the notion that as Unitarian-Universalists we are a community of individuals.

Today through Jan. 29th - CLOTHING DRIVE - ONE MORE WEEK! Go through the back of your closets and pull out all that stuff you never wear. Professional clothes, warm winter coats and mens shoes are especially needed as are new socks and  new underwear.  Items should be clean and in good repair. Put clothing donations in the boxes in the foyer by noon Sunday January 29 or make a financial donation by placing a check made out to UUFLG with 'Clothing Drive' on the memo line in the offering basket. Helping With UUFLG’s Sound System:  Seeking people who will help operate the sound system.  Alan Martin will be the trainer on the sound system.  If you have an interest in learning to operate the system and help occasionally with services and/or rental events,  please let the office know.
